Fourfold ducat which the Kingdom of Yugoslavia issued contains two characters printed on its front side. The figure of King Alexander with glasses standing in festive royal robes next to the figure of Queen Mary, which has a tiara on her head. Around the image there is a text written in Cyrillic "KRALJ ALEKSANDAR I KRALJICA MARIJA", and at the bottom also in Cyrillic it is written "KOVANICA A.D."
On the back of the coin there is a royal emblem with double-headed eagle, which has Serbian and Croatian coat of arms on his chest. Around the emblem the text is printed "KRALJEVINA JUGOSLAVIJA" and the year of publication. In the bottom corner of the coin the number 4 is printed and a text "DUKATA" on the left and right side of the number, written in both alphabets (Cyrillic and Latin).
The weight of the quadruple ducat is 13, 9636 grams, and the diameter is 40 mm, and thickness is 0, 7 mm. It contains 0, 4430 ounces of pure gold.
